Uncover the Power of Yeast.
Welcome to Yeast Hunter Club, where we specialize in yeast biotechnology and microbiology to promoting research on yeast, exchanging knowledge and experience, developing innovative technologies, education and popularization of science, supporting young scientists, building a scientific community and sustainable development and social responsibility.
Yeast Hunter Club is a community of scientists and researchers dedicated to the advancement of yeast biotechnology and microbiology. Our main goal is to foster collaboration and share knowledge in this specialized field, ultimately driving innovation and progress in the scientific community.
The Yeast Hunter Club pursues its objectives through:
- supporting scientific development in the fields of biology, genetics, biotechnology and microbiology of yeast, including its industrial and medical applications.
- facilitating international cooperation between scientists, students and experts by organizing conferences, workshops and seminars
- supporting work on new methods of using yeast in the production of biofuels, food, pharmaceuticals and other areas of biotechnology.
- organizing educational activities, lectures and programmes to promote the importance of yeast in biotechnology and microbiology.
- creating a platform for the presentation of young researchers' work, promoting their achievements and supporting their scientific career development
- fintegrating specialists from different countries and institutions working in the field of yeast and microbiology, creating a network of contacts.
- promoting research and technologies consistent with the principles of sustainable development, ensuring ethical aspects of scientific research

Exploring the World of Yeast
With over 1,600 known species belonging to more than 130 genera of ascomycetous and basidiomycetous yeasts, only about 1,000 yeast species have been identified, representing just a fraction of Earth's total yeast biodiversity. Studying yeast biodiversity aids in understanding their ecological roles and potential industrial applications, as yeasts are found in diverse environments, including cold habitats where cold-adapted species have unique metabolic features beneficial for biotechnology. Understanding their genetics, ecology, and applications can lead to advancements in biotechnology, medicine, and fundamental biology.
